Napoleon Cake

Sponge

Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 250 g butter or margarine
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients and chill in the fridge overnight
  2. Roll the dough into a snake and cut into 10-12 pieces
  3. Roll each piece out very thin
  4. Use a dinner plate or pot lid to cut into circles
  5. Bake until done
  6. Chill before assembling

Filling

Ingredients

  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 jar jam

Directions

  • Simmer the can of condensed milk for an hour
  • Spread jam and condensed milk on alternating layers of cake
